We spoke to Jamie about studio hire, it turns out they do much more. The studio is ace, loads of space and different set areas. They helped us organise our shoot from start to finish (model, photographer ect). Also Jamie showed us some of his videos and will definitely be using him in the near future.

UPDATE: In response to the owners reply: Only 2 members staff apparently with me! Weird because I had 2 business partners, 3 members of a video crew and 1 actress. That makes 6. Second, the way we moved the heater is irrelevant. Even if we did damage your heater (which is false), your FIRE EXIT WAS BLOCKED. This is ridiculous and very unsafe and 100% was brought up by the Fire Emergency services who arrived. There was NO fire extinguisher to be found. There were other people in the building who we asked for a fire extinguisher and they also were not able to locate one, and also evacuated the building. We never got to finish our shoot and have asked for some kind of refund to cover the loss of the time, and you have ignored us there too. Beware: Owner is lying, feel free to contact me for details of what really happened, and the actual poor state of the studio. Cheers. ---------- Hired this studio for a 2 day shoot last week. The studio itself was fine, spacious. However some massive issues. 1. A fire started because they had a faulty heater. The heater was attached to a gas canister. 2. ^ This wouldn't be such a big deal if we had a fire extinguisher. Problem: there wasn't one. We ran around the building for 2-3 minutes desperately looking for a fire extinguisher... nothing to be found... When my staff member realised we werent going to be able to put the fire out, he said we need to leave. I told my team and partners that we needed to get out of the building and we headed for the fire escape. New problem! 3. The fire escape was TOTALLY BLOCKED by dozens of huge boxes. It wasn't accessible at all. A massive problem because.... 4. The heater that was on fire was NEXT TO the ONLY door we could escape from. Thankfully, we all managed to run out of the building, cautiously and dangerously by running past the heater on fire. Leaving £10k worth of equipment behind. We called the fire brigade, and they told us the building was totally breaking all building regulations. They also said it was highly likely the building would be closed down. I advise staying away from hiring this spot. Its 100% unsafe, and the owners of the building clearly dont care about the place being safe either.
