A HUGE thank you to all the team at Studfold. We camped as a family over Bank Holiday Weekend. The location is idyllic and the campsite has all facilities we needed - clean toilet block and washing up area, plenty of hot water despite the busy weekend. The pitches are generous, every one has amazing views in every direction. Best of all, the sensible site rules are made clear and simple and everyone followed them, making for an enjoyable trip for all. Great if you love dark skies - shooting stars all over on Saturday night!! The children (and adults) loved the Fairy Trail with all the surprises along the way - plenty for boys as well as girls with trails to follow, excellent go-karting track and another track with mini tractors. We can highly recommend Studfold to all age groups. Felicity Newby and family, down from Scotland for a birthday celebration.

Staff very helpful, couldn't fault. Lovely location but the toilet/shower facilities need updating, other visitors didn't appear to use the mop after showering so you'd walk in to a muddy floor. Also there doesn't appear to be any rules for noise/music at night so our last night we struggled to get to sleep until 1am due. The majority of my positive score is from my son having the best time making friends and having 'the best time'. The fairy park is excellent and the scenery is nice.

I wasn't sure what to expect as it seemed mainly for tents. I was more than delighted with this site. The area is spectacular especially in a heatwave. The field and pitch was lovely the owner very friendly and the other campers really friendly. I took my 5 year old granddaughter and didn't see that much of her. She loved all her new friends and I struggled to get her out of the river. The greatest accolade was from my daughter who isn't a camping fan who said she would consider camping if it was always like this

We very much enjoyed our week here. The site is kept well and we had a great time exploring the gorge, this was perfect for getting out of the heat. The facilities are excellent and we'll maintained. The shop is small and shouldn't be relied upon for main food. Equally the local pubs kept strange hours for food so come prepared but I would (and have) recommended it to anyone looking for an escape.
