Hobs do not work in my flat, we have had maximum one working hob out of two for most of the year and even then it breaks constantly resulting in my flat mates and I having to either order food or lug all our stuff downstairs to cook in the hosting kitchen. We have complained far too many times and not much has been done to help us. We have to email them every time our hobs cut out which is probably at least twice a week at this point even after living here now for 5 months. We also have weird noises in our kitchen walls which go on constantly through the day and can be heard from my bedroom as I’m right next to the kitchen, I have also complained about this twice and nothing has been done. As a flat we feel so fed up with having to complain to them and feel as though we are being treated unfairly as we are paying a large amount to live here. I know another flat has been given plug in hobs to use as they are in a similar situation so it is not just one flat. The accommodation looks nice but it’s better off going somewhere cheaper where u can actually cook when u want to.

York House feels like a home. The facilities are amazing and promote social interactions throughout the accommodation. The staff are are all so lovely and work hard to maintain a warm environment. It’s in a great location in town and such a short walk to NTU city campus.

Really modern and spacious. The social areas are always clean and free to use. It’s located very close to Victoria Centre and is close to the universities in Nottingham. All members of staff are very approachable and friendly. I would definitely recommend this accommodation ☺️
