I ordered a skip last week, I think it was. The customer service was very impressive. I asked for the skip to be with us from 9 am, although they said it would be all day. It was here just after 9 am. The driver was obviously highly skilled as he managed to drive the lorry up the alleyway. When the skip was full we rang up and it was collected the next morning. LIED. I enquired about hiring a midi skip I was told that the council was shut due to covid19 and not issuing permits for skips on the road so I couldn't have one. This, quite simply was not true and I was glad I called other local companies afterwards who said they were still just as able to get permits from the council. Also I did still ask for a quote from Huddersfield skip and scaffolding and it was very expensive, £217 ex. VAT! Cheep as Skips and Colne valley charged a total of £160-165. If you don't want people's business, just say, why lie?!

All the 5* reviews are FAKE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS as this company WILL OVERCHARGE you whilst they source a skip much cheaper from a different company. I was charged over £200+ for a medium skip. I had no other choice but to pay as I needed the skip and no other local companies were able to deliver for when I needed it. The skip came from a company called Tiger skip hire. I then had an invoice posted through the door which stated the cost of skip hire was £140. When speaking to someone I was told I should not have received the invoice and basically its tough luck. They state in their terms that they will not issue any refunds. AVOID THESE THIEVING SO AND SO'S.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! They are not a skip hire company but instead an agent that will source skips from other local companies and then charge you nearly double what that company charges themselves! I was charged £243 for a skip that the local company charged £140. When I rang these theives to ask why they charged so much more than the other company they just shrugged me off. Skip wasn't picked up when it should have been either!
