Sally George
We walked through on the public footpath and found a few nice surprises. A nature walk with bird hides, original features such as Tunstall Hall complete with lake, Edwardian summer house and Cliff Farm with a very historical barn. Despite extensive erosion along this coast an access to the beach had been created at a low point of the cliff and clever use of rock amour. Once there, at low tide you can see tree trunks of the ancient sub marine forest and note the fact that Sand Le Mere is the first place on the Greenwich Meridian Line.
