  We have been promised that the plants to replaced at the front of our home will happen next week. After three months of such reassurance I am not convinced. Plants that are not hardy died in February. Always there is an excuse to early, to wet, soon it will be to dry.The initial plants were a bad choice and planted in freezing cold conditions. Our other issue is very poor paint work internally,and a cheap spray on product that was used initially. We will need to decorate soon. Getting answers quickly never happens. These are expensive properties and one would expect much faster reaction.Not empty reassurance.

  Sadly simply cannot recommend at all based on being left with a dreadful finish and so many problems on our home. This backed up by a really poor after sales and customer care experience. You are left feeling like they simply don’t care. They will never answer their phone, never respond to emails and as we are experiencing simply ignore all attempts to contact them. Buyers beware. See just a few pics of our supposed “show home” some 5 months after moving in. This is how we have now been left with most rooms part decorated after repairs (to every single room in the house!), wallpapered walls damaged and mouldy, dampness, leaks, plumbing and electrical issues, boiler problems and a large list of issues not being dealt with despite some being months old. As per other reviews I’ve seen watch out for some of the worst “taping” you will ever come across. Despite their own team admitting the it is “simply poor workmanship” they left us like this 3 weeks ago and since have practically ignored us. These are repairs and they now comment that “we told you it might look worse after we tried to fix it”. We are not sure how to respond to that!

  I really nice house. But the longer you settle in we find more problems. It does tend to feel that after the first initial setting in period it's hard to get problems rectified. Not the fault of the on site team, it seems they are instructed that they can't help. We put a call into Strongvox customer service team before Christmas....Still have not received a call back. On site team are amazing, Strongvox!!!!! We guess they have the money now so we are not a priority. A shame, but that's reality.

  House sale was pushed very hard by Stongvox. So much is wrong with the house that couldn't be identified within the allowed first 7 days. After that, you are on your own, Strongvox really don't care. In the last month the boiler has shut down 3 times, sockets not working and promise from them to fix identified problems still unresolved. Be very aware before you even consider such a desperate move. We have been very patient, but no more. Paddens Farm, more like Satans Farm. Wish we had never moved here.

  Just wanted to write and say thank you to the lads Greg and Jack that sorted some snagging recently. We had to go out on their last afternoon working so we didn’t get chance to thank them personally for their hard work. They have done a lovely job and its much appreciated . They both were friendly and courteous and I have never known such neat and tidy workmen! Also a thanks to Kate and Laura for helping us have such a swift and simple purchase. And many thanks to the site manager Dom who has also been really helpful with everything.

  Be VERY careful when dealing with Strongvox, as they can't really be trusted. - They knew we were using Help to Buy and let us submit the application when they didn’t have funding. I could let that go, but worse was that they told our mortgage advisor they had the funding when they didn’t. So, he submitted the application again only for it to fail. We then had to complete a new application, as you can’t use the same one. - We were told to pay £4,000 more than we’d previously agreed on the flooring. - Some snagging issues are marked as ‘closed’ without being fixed. - Strongvox was told about a misaligned staircase during the build but they signed it off anyway and hoped we wouldn't notice. They keep delaying this and ignoring us, hoping we'd give up. - Fire doors throughout the house have gaps that are too large to slow the spread of a fire, yet I have them on record saying that they’ll do it when the house has settled in a year’s time. So, that means we’re not safe in a fire until they decide to replace it in their own time–which they still haven’t done 16 months later. Other issues - Terrible communication from start to finish and non-existent in a lot of cases. - Major snags still not fixed after 16 months and counting… - Drawn out sales process needing to confirm tiles, kitchen cupboards, carcasses, end plates, cupboard inserts, splashback, handles...you name it, one, at, a, time. - Built-in wardrobes were an option but they didn’t tell us. - We were told that we could choose any of the Karndean flooring from the website, so we paid for some samples and spent time choosing, only to then be told that we couldn’t have what we’d chosen. - They would never commit to a completion date, right up until the final week. Not great when you have to give your landlord a leaving date. - Bathroom tiles were fitted incorrectly. - Misaligned staircase which is slightly wonky from “shoddy workmanship” apparently. - There were a number of snags, which you’d expect. However, there were a few issues from sloppiness, such as the dishwasher not working, poor plumbing, and security issues. These should have been obvious during their ‘inspection’, so we were disappointed to have to sort these out after moving in. Once they've taken your money they don't really care that much—they ignore most emails and if you call they just tell you the same "we're working on it" line every time.
