All of the reviews praising John and String King Guitar Works are all true. My personal experience with John was tremendous - as a very beginner who is planning to learn how to play bass, I had absolutely no idea how to take care of my new bass or what it needed. John kindly took in my Ibanez and in less than a week, I now have a beautiful, clean, smooth bass guitar that I can't wait to learn with! The only downside is that there is never enough time to talk guitars and music with John but I definitely recommend his trustworthy business and will be coming back in future!

John did a great job with a used Charvel dk24 I picked up that had a fair amount of fret wear. It plays like a joy now with excellent low action and no buzz all the way up the neck on all strings. He even sent me some screws to replace missing ones from the back plate. I will definitely be bringing my guitars to him in future. Professional, reliable and good value.
