I visited Strensall in Yorkshire today and it was a most enjoyable experience. Before I went to Strensall I had visited St Margarets Clitherow RC Church in Haxby. The Church is a short drive from the Strensall Training Area. The Strensall Training Area is used by the British Army for dry training and live firing on the Strensall Rifle Ranges. I parked my car at the public car park at the Strensall Training Area and then embarked on a walk in the Strensall Rifle Ranges area. It is an enjoyable walk around in the Strensall Rifle Range area. Note:If the red flags are flying and/or the red lights are on you CANNOT enter the Ranges area. This is because live firing is taking place. I am revisiting the Strensall Training Area and Strensall Rifle Ranges on Saturday 16th July 2022 when I am staying at Ampleforth Abbey. Ampleforth Abbey is a short drive from the Strensall Training Area and Strensall Rifle Ranges. I would recommend a visit to the Strensall Training Area and Strensall Rifle Ranges and St Margarets Clitherow RC Church in Haxby.
