Such a lovely place, especially for plant lovers, so cosy and welcoming. We had 2 starters and 3 mains alongside a lovely bottle of wine. Everything was delicious, that why we decide to get an extra main.

What a great restaurant. Wish it was local to us !! We had the courgette flower and carpaccio, followed by the pork steak and scallops. Each dish was superbly prepared and presented. Couldn’t resist sharing the lemon tart for desert. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Great evening. Thank you Street Urchin.

1/ average tasting food - wine menu lacking so nothing ordered 2/ strange menu choices (ie fish on the bone served in a bowl of sauce/broth) - very hard to eat 3/ certain parts of the dish overcooked - sadly the main protein element and burnt veg (beyond just charred) 4/ very slow - 45mins between starter going and main arriving The only positive was large portions

Have eaten here twice and it was a joy each time. The menu is interesting and the food is so good. The drinks menu, particularly the cordials are a great refreshing alternative to an alcoholic drink. Went with some foodie friends a few weeks ago and their comment was 'When they (SU) get an award....' so book and go now before you can't get a table!

Mussels were delicious, sits on a pool of aromatic and flavorful broth with braised leeks Pork tenderloin was cooked moist and tender, garnished with a crispy tempura herbs which was a delight! Monkfish was cooked perfectly moist and tender as well, sits on crunchy fried noodles which adds an Asian dimension to it Whole grilled black bream on the bone was moist and flaky but lacks flavors Overall, the meats and garnishes were cooked perfectly, and I appreciate the creativity and originality of the combination of ingredients in the dishes. However, I personally felt that most of the dishes didn't have bold enough flavor or flavors just didn't compliment each other enough to bring out the full potential of the dish itself Service was friendly and nice but the ambience might be a little bit too dark for my liking as I can't see my food clearly as well ( I sat on the corner judt right by thr side of the stairs on the second floor) But do come and have a visit! 7.5/10
