Harry was extremely helpful and kind even though it was a busy Sunday and my figure skates were not bought from this shop. We travelled 2 hours to Streatham and he did his best to accommodate my sharpening request while we waited rather than his usual 24h turnaround service for skates not bought at his shop. He also punched out one of my skates and moved the blade on the other, letting me try different variations od blade placement at the rink to make sure we get a good fit. He gave me his honest opinion about my boots and said I could have gotten a cheaper pair for my level (which is true). If you are in or around London, don’t waste your time at the London Skate Centre and go here to get fitted and get your skates sharpened. I will definitely go back!

The only ice skate specialist in Greater London. At last I have skates that fit! My feet were scanned and accurately measured in 3D. Boots were heat moulded, carefully stretched in places to fit. Also have to mention that the blade sharpening service here is the best I’ve used; as a frequent skater I never get tired legs from skating because blades are skilfully sharpened. Nowhere in London do you get this professional ice skate service and it’s refreshing to speak to someone who knows what they’re talking about and cares about their customers.

Brilliant service from a proper professional. I have been skating for over 45 years and have had six pairs of skates in that time. I have never bothered getting them fitted and I have skated in pain all that time as my boots never quite fitted properly. It took me over 1.5 hours each way to get to Streatham and three hours in the shop and it was worth every second. Harry has the equipment to measure (in three dimensions) your feet and then the oven and heat treatment equipment to mould the boots to your exact foot shape. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Anywhere else will just ask you what shoe size you are and sell you a pair of skates. I am 60 years old and rarely write reviews, partly because I don’t think people read them and partly because I wasn’t sure how. So I got my 18 year old to explain how to do a google review because people need to know how good this place is. A very very happy old man skater, skating pain free for the first time in so many years. Thank you
