I am first 2 star reviewer. Not great there wasn’t any good competition since the only gm left the club, since then I left to play in the professional team at my child’s primary school chess club.

No good people to play against highest rating is 1800. Not even a gm here until I showed up. No competition for me. Left to play for a proper team at world championships. Won't come back.

This chess club is currently held in the back room of Streatham library every Tuesday from 4.30pm to about 7pm by Richard, always friendly and an excellent tutor who fosters young minds’ interest in chess by making them feel welcome to the group and playing with them matches, showing them different techniques or pairing them up with other kids at the same level… There are lots of adults coming to play as well, so if you have a passion for chess or you are only starting to discover it, this is the club for you! Well done Richard for a smooth running of the club, you make it a very enjoyable experience :-)
