I put my car in for 2 tyres, alloys checked and ticked on the sheet as fine when I went in and when I collected there is now a bulge in the clear coat of the diamond cut alloys. The usual “it wasn’t us”, “you’d need photographic evidence that it was not there for us to repair”, “how old is the car?” “Have wheels been refurbished?”…blaming a tiny bit of laquer further up spoke as cause. All I can state is the laquer was not bulged when I dropped off and is now visibly bulging. I’d recommend taking pics when you drop off car so you then have evidence of any damage…. Don’t rely on them checking. Ohhh and check tyre pressure as not matching what they should be at, not even the same pressure across each tyre… hardly a sign of good workmanship. Service: Tires

Strathclyde Autotune to the rescue yet again!! Tom who is the son of the owner Peter was a superstar today. My car was due it’s first MOT today. Car battery was dead after being away on vacation for almost four weeks. Tom called to our house, jump started the car and drove it to their garage for its MOT. He found a nail in one tyre and sorted that too! We have been using their garage for 25 years now and each experience has been superb. TODAY Tom excelled. Services: Tires, Battery

Owner could learn some customer service skills. Had a bike mot'd a few weekends ago, I appreciate that not being customer facing can cause a slight disconnect with customers, but perhaps displaying an interest as opposed to the opposite may benefit in terms of return custom.

I called peter at Strathclyde Autotune to get a quote for a new clutch peter asked me to bring my Vauxhall antara down to his workshop peter took my car for a test drive and after a good run he brought my car back to his work shop put it on his machine and said that there was nothing wrong with my car i will definitely be recommending Strathclyde auto tune to family and friends this is.
