I emailed Paul on 22nd August, Paul recommended the vendor quickly and survey was booked for 5th Sept and report with me on the 7th Sept. I was emailed lots with details and updates on my survey and the report itself was extremely detailed. We were supposed to have our house surveyed this morning at 9am for potential buyers. Last night at gone 11pm we received a text to say that due to unforeseen circumstances the survey in the morning is cancelled. Cancelled, not postponed or deferred. No apology, no reason. We had taken a day off to be on site for the survey too. Not happy. We asked for a reason and there has been no response . A very poor service indeed and I would avoid. Additional: Following on from the response from Paul below, if the text message received at 11pm had been worded more appropriately such as an apology, and the assurance of contact the next day to rearrange, then I would not have put this review. The fact remains that a subsequent phone call to my partner today to rearrange, was accompanied by rude, abrupt and unprofessional attitude with a downright disregard for customer service. I had 30 years in the finance industry and my partner 30 years in teaching and in all this time we have never experienced such attitude from a supposed professional. I am sorry about your circumstances surrounding your daughters hospital visit, however we would suggest a different approach in times of appointment cancellations and maybe some staff training in customer service. Thank you.
