Had a reservation for a date night dinner. We brought our dog and he was welcomed with a dog bed and water bowl. Edimilson was our sever and he was very knowledgeable and attentive. We ordered the lobster cups for starter, it was a bit disappointing (lobster with mayo on a crunchy tart). I ordered the red lantern cocktail that was devine! The sea food noodles was ok. My husband got lobster laksa the coconut broth was lovely and it was not very spicy (2 chilli's on the menu). We got the chocolate mousse dessert and the apple crumble. The chocolate mousse was very small portion but lovely mix of flavors. The apple crumble was on a sort of jello, mouse. Service was superb and food came very quick!

Very good lunch menu for business and friends! By the way, I read some negative reviews below - I would say although I haven’t been here for dinner but I have came here 4 times for lunch with clients and family. All of us are happy with their service and food.

We tried out Straits Kitchen’s Asian inspired Sunday roast at the pan pacific. This is a different take to the Sunday roast and is a buffet costing £50 per person with half a bottle of Prosecco. The buffet had a large selection of Asian roast meats and the must have are the crispy pork belly, roast duck and barbecue pork. The roast chicken and the hainanese chicken were very average at best. Their shrimp laksa was tasty and full of flavour and large amounts of shrimp. This was all accompanied by a selection of vegetables, rice and summer rolls. The dessert buffet was also a great way to finish the feast. A great option for a different kind of Sunday roast in London.

I recently visited Straits Kitchen, a pan-Asian restaurant with a classy and modern ambiance. The restaurant's décor and atmosphere were impressive, and the friendly hostess and wait staff made our dining experience all the more enjoyable. We opted for the set menu, which was delicious, and also ordered some additional dishes from the al a carte menu. The Beef Rendang was my favourite dish and was cooked to perfection, sweet and very spicy. The flambe Crab dish was also a standout, exciting and flavourful. To top off our celebration of a birthday occasion, the restaurant offered us complimentary champagne and cake, which was a thoughtful gesture. Unfortunately, our dining experience was marred by a billing dispute. The restaurant bill was presentedto us and came to £270 more than it should have done, which is a significant amount of money. However we were able to point out the mistakes that had been made in the bill and paid the correct ammount in the end. Despite this, the dispute had already affected the atmosphere and enjoyment of the occasion, and we left feeling unsatisfied. While the food and service at Straits Kitchen were superb, the billing dispute left us with a sour taste in our mouths. While I would recommend the restaurant's cuisine, I would also advise diners to be cautious and check their bills thoroughly before paying. Unfortunately, the dispute left us with a negative impression of the restaurant, and we would not return.

Had an excellent meal here. We opted for the chefs set menu which was very good value and very tasty. Service was attentive and very friendly. I really appreciated how willing the kitchen was to adapt dishes to be gluten free.
