Overall we have been very satisfied with the academic progress and pastoral care that both our children have received in our association with the school which was for nearly 10 years. Our children thrived in a very secure and caring environment and made excellent progress. Sports provision was particularly good with the employment of a dedicated PE teacher with lots of opportunities for children to take part in different team activities. We were also very impressed with the Year 5/6 teaching from Mr Gannon which helped our children mature and become secondary school ready as well as challenging them to reach their potential - they both got to Grammar school. Issues which undoubtedly happen sometime in school life were dealt with in a professional and caring manner. Other assets include - the school is set in a beautiful location, has small class sizes, breakfast/after school provision, friendliness of the school (it feels like a big family) and links to St Mary's Church. Arrange a visit to the school and see for yourself!

We are absolutely thrilled with Stowting Primary. We came from a very large school in Luxembourg with a complete different curriculum (let alone the education in 3 different languages!). My son wasn’t able to read or write and had no maths skills when we arrived as he had attended Kindergarten in Luxembourg. Here he entered his school life in y2 according to his age. Despite my worries whether he was able to catch up he is doing very well. We are amazed how lovely and personal this village school is and how much support he received to reach the same educational level as his peers. Everyone is so friendly, parents and staff alike. The teachers are fantastic and our two kids (now y 3 and y6) are flourishing. I can highly recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a personal and nourishing environment for their children.
