Horrible experience. Usally is a good little station and the shuttle staff are lovely. But the replacement service guy today was rude condescending and to be honest if I wasn't in a rush I would have walked it and will be doing so in the future. He asked me for my ticket I said its on my phone just give me a min. He was like where is it where is it. You know you go station there and get one. I already had one it was loading. I tried to explain but I have up as he kept talking over me. Then he said just go sit down as huthed in my face. the worst thing of all is that he diddnt ask no one else and no one else showd a ticket. To me this was unfair and just an overall horrible experience. Specially as I use this service daily.

As of March/April 2022 the shuttle/tram seems to have died. Endless different signs promising a return date at one end and none at the other, no indication of it coming back anytime soon. What this leaves is a miserable chap sat in the ticket office who's phone is surgically attached to his hand (or so it would seem), a ticket machine that works "most" of the time but not all, and a replacement bus service that varies wildly between a mini coach some days and a transit van with seats clamped to the floor on other days. This once proud station has ceased to serve any meaningful purpose. I think I'll just walk the extra mile to Stourbridge Junction instead.

Stourbridge Town railway station is the terminus of the shortest branch line in the country. It is only 0.7 miles long from Stourbridge Junction to the Stourbridge town and the journey takes 3 minutes. Stourbridge Town connects the rail network with the Stourbridge interchange where buses can take passengers to many places in the local area. The Stourbridge Shuttle is a light passenger service by two class 139 parry people movers. They are light trains practical and unique to the line. Over 600000 a year use the service for which the Stourbridge Branch line has had new Rail, sleepers and balast, the first upgrade of the track since 1902. The shuttle operates six times an hour at Stourbridge town a booking office is open where tickets and timetables are available for passengers.
