Review for Farm Park - Visited many farms in the county with kids, this one was not one of the better ones. Check-in at the farm shop, food for animals £2.50 per bag! Usually, I expect to pay 50p-£1. Cuddle corner - only 1 staff member, who wasn’t always there which meant we couldn’t pet the animals and had to wait around quite a few times. These animals seemed quite sad and weary, and the pens were cramped so hard to go inside for petting The trail is short and not very well signposted. Sinks don’t have stools for kids to reach properly, and taps were so hard to open - impossible for kids. For a kids farm, you expect that kind of attention to detail. No path to get to horse/sheep area, had to try and wheel buggy over long grass. Play area redeemed our visit a little, few bits of basic wooden equipment but kids loved it. Overall, not worth the entrance fee unless they make significant improvements. I’d rather go to windmill farm 15 mins away which offers far more activities and animals.

Visited the farm park which was great for our 2 young children, it was a lovely place. We then went to the cafe for some lunch. I waited 30 minutes after being seated for one of the waitresses to take our order, nobody took our order, we weren't even acknowledged, so we decided to take the kids to Mc Donalds instead. We mentioned this to friends and they told us they always go to the nearby pub as you get served quicker. I hope this doesn't happen too often because we would like to bring the kids back as they enjoyed the farm park a lot.

Ordered drinks at the bar. Also ordered pizzas and ordered some sweet potato chips as a side plate to be told they couldn't do them as they were short of staff. However, they could bring the pizzas to our table, which they did, and were asked if we wanted any sauces. We said yes, but they never came. I spent around £61 pounds. Am I missing something here???
