I joined the Maidenhead class just over a year ago and attend twice a week. I joined after seeing how much my daughters enjoy their lessons with Storm in Woodley. I absolutely love this class. It's an amazing stress release and very enjoyable too. I was worried about starting as I am not very fit or flexible anymore, but Digger and the other members of the class have been encouraging, not patronising, and a lot of fun to work with. Digger is a good instructor, he communicates clearly and is very patient in showing you the correct way to do something. If you're looking for an interesting and fun way to learn a new skill and gain some fitness then this is the class for you!

STORM Family Martial Arts Maidenhead gets 10/10 from me. The lead instructor (and owner) Digger is very welcoming (as are ALL the other students). He is also incredibly knowledgeable and skilled in many disciplines. Digger and Dan (instructor #2) are both fantastic coaches. They understand different peoples learning styles, they are patient and demonstrate moves clearly. They motivate the class with praise and feedback throughout the session. The academy covers all ages from 4 to 6 (Dragons), 7 to 13 (Tigers) and Adults classes, including 50 plus year old's like me! I've previously trialled a couple of other local (Maidenhead) kick boxing schools, I found them to be not particularly welcoming and pretty boring. The STORM academy couldn’t be more different. We work on fitness and flexibility (yoga and stretching) to enable you to participate effectively in martial arts (at your own pace and level). From a martial arts perspective, not only have we covered the core syllabus of Kickboxing (Taekwondo), Sport Karate, Eskrima (Filipino stick fighting) and The Fight SMART (self-defence) System. But we have also covered some aspects of Filipino dirty boxing, Muay Thai, Jujitsu and Wing Chun, having lots of fun along the way. STORM caters for all levels of learning. From pure fitness, self-defence and confidence building for Women, Kids or Men of any ages. To controlled sparring at higher belts if you want to challenge yourself. Overall, great teachers, great syllabus, great students and great fun, come along and see for yourself !
