Used to be a tenant from this agency for two years. I have to say I do not recommend this estate agency to no one honestly, it has been the worst experience dealing with them during my tenancy and after it. Very bad service, unprofessional, do not call back and do not answer back to emails, unless to ask for the rent. I moved out a year ago even then they still give my phone details to contractors that untill today still call me for renovations in a flat where I haven't lived since a year. Also still haven't received my full deposit because of their mistake with the checkout. Everytime I call their agency, they only take a message tell me they will call back but no one from manager to agent does. Worst agency I have ever had in London.

Update 22/4/23 Peter Burns, judging by your review, I am assuming you've had similar problems? If you are able to upload photos and emails as evidence, please could you also post instructions how to do it and I will also upload mine. Having filed a complaint with The Property Ombudsman regarding Storeys' incompetence, they have responded with a complete pack of lies, every one of which I can prove to be false. Evidence also includes a recording of a telephone conversation between plumber and property manager who abruptly put the phone down on the plumber who was trying to fix our heating. Why? because she bizarrely objected to the call being placed on speaker phone giving me the ability to listen to the conversation, in my own home, regarding how repairs to my heating which wasn't working during the coldest period of the year was going to be managed. Storeys excuse for this unprofessional behaviour? I was allegedly shouting at her. Thankfully I was taking a video at exactly the same time in order to show Storeys the issues we were experiencing with our radiators and that video has been sent to TPO for review. This is not a vendetta against you Storeys as you have alleged to TPO, my 1 star review of your company (of which there are several) just happens to be the truth. I'm sorry you don't like it. I gave you every opportunity to put things right before involving TPO but you just weren't interested. And that is why I changed my original 5 star review to the 1 star you dont even deserve. ****************************************************************** STOREYS ARE UNPROFESSIONAL, UNRESPONSIVE, ARGUMENTATIVE AND RUDE. THEY DO NOT LEARN FROM THEIR MISTAKES OR ACCEPT CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM . I have lived very happily in my rented home for over 5 years. 1 year ago, our landlord instructed Storeys to manage it and then this nightmare began. 3 times during the course of the past year, I've asked for necessary repairs. 3 times they just didn't respond and I ended up paying for repairs myself. I received a payment of £500 at the end of last year from the business owner by way of an apology for poor service which he acknowleged. We agreed I'd use that money for charitable acts, i.e. supporting local Foodbank's, cancer patients etc. I really thought we'd turned a corner. I'm afraid not. Our relationship is at breaking point for a 3rd time. All is okay until you ask for anything to be done in terms of repairs or property management. I have had problems with my heating since 8 December 2022. On 27/1/23 Storeys received independent evidence that my radiators weren't working. Today is is 21/2/2023 and having endured 2 freezing cold periods since December, another one is forecast this week and I am STILL WITHOUT HEATING. On 13 February 2023, my plumber returned for yet another inspection. He said we had a blockage and needed a power flush. Still waiting for an appointment. We have community supplied heating, the heat interface unit in our home is the property of EON but landlord is responsible for anything after the heat interface unit, i.e.radiators and pipes. EON sent an engineer out 3 times during the past month. They upgraded the heat interface unit, checked triple checked it was working and confirmed in writing that it had NOTHING TO DO WITH OUR FAULTY RADIATORS. They also confirmed that no-one was permitted to touch this unit as it was their property. Storeys refused to accept this and told me if I didn't allow their contractor access to the heat interface unit, they wouldn't help further. That defies belief. I am a 60 years old widow, I have osteoarthritis and living in a cold home for the past almost 3 months is really affecting my health. I need heat! Our landlord is doing everything possible his end to ensure that we get a fix ASAP but I don't believe Storeys are correctly reporting back to him in an attempt to paint me as a bad tenant. ****************************************************************** 22/4/23 Rest of review has had to be deleted in order to allow space for update above.
