Not impressed with reception. Always been bad never answer phone you are better dropping in to speak to them. Had them before. You can't get another doctors to take on in farnworth it's just them accepting new patients. Doctors are quite good just receptionists. Taken 4 week next week for a doctor to sign a letter for a bus pass. Ridiculous as it is already with greater manchester travel. Been waiting since end of February when it expired.

Not a good service. They go against mental health issues. Take Mick with fit notes when u seriously need 1 and everything. They keep spamming me out after refusing to do there job on the phone.

They ask you to give 48 hrs notice for a change or cancellation of appointments, or should you need very important tests done, that they remind you of. Yet they don't have appointments for weeks on end. Your lucky should you actually be able to get through. To top it off! Ms Receptionist thinks they have the right to say if you can speak or see the gp. Not to forget, if you are able to get an appointment because the GP is very busy. The waiting room is empty. What???

I can only comment from personal experience. The staff at the surgery have been amazing caregivers over recent years. Through my dad's journey with long Covid, my mum's impending knee replacement surgery and my own anxiety disorder the team work hard and do their best in often difficult circumstances.

i've never known such incompetence, how many times must your receptionist answer a call, not say a word, listen to me say hello a multitude of occasions and then put the phone down on me. don't even get me started on the waiting times. 17 minutes for you to answer a call of somebody in "position 3 in the queue" shambolic.

I spoke to a receptionist today, and she was a breath of fresh air. Absolutely understood my problem and was friendly and helpful. Made a change from some of them. 5 *****

We couldn’t ask for a better Practice. I have consistently found all the reception staff to be efficient and very empathetic. Both the doctors and the nursing team deliver a highly professional service. Even during the height of the pandemic I was still proactively contacted by the practice for health prevention screening. I have always been given timely appts with the clinicians for my daughter and myself. If the phone lines are busy and you have to wait to be dealt with, it’s because the reception staff are dealing with another patient who needs that time to explain their problem. I am confident that when it’s your turn, you too will be given the time and responded to in a kindly manner. Stonehill has been our Practice for over twenty years and never once has the service they provide let me down.
