We made an appointment to visit the site in Farnham to discuss a stone for my mother and father-in-law's grave. The gentleman we saw was pleasant and helpful and suggested we call the office the following Monday for them to send a brochure and price. My wife rang the office and was told by the Secretary (I assume) that they don't send brochures but she will speak to the stonemason and call us back. Two days passed without a call so we called again, the secretary gave us a price that was double the estimate given at the time of the visit and asked if we wished to go ahead. My wife explained that we couldn't buy a design we haven't seen in advance so the secretary said she would speak to the stonemason and call us back (again). After hearing nothing for a few days we called again. The secretary said we had been given a price so the ball was in our court. It was at this point we assumed that we would be far better off going elsewhere.
