Proceed with caution when planning to buy a future new build property being built by Stonebond. Constant delays and no urgency to fix their issues. The site I have reserved a property on was pushed back a month which is understandable on a new build but then a few weeks later the whole site was pushed back a further 4 months! Bare in mind mortgage offers only last 3-6 months…. Unacceptable.

A BIG THANK YOU In my world, quality, service and professionalism is key, and Stonebond have not disappointed me. we would like to say a huge thank you to Veronica Simes (all companies need a Veronica) the level of care and attention shown was amazing, from our first meeting to when we moved into our property, she was there for us. When we moved into our house we were greeted by Lesley for our handover, the level of knowledge shown was amazing from all our appliances to general information regarding the house, this handover was of the highest quality, since moving into the property we have had some minor issues but again we were introduced to Dean Middleton at Stonebond's customer services, Dean is knowledgeable, professional and gets things done! first class. I couldn’t ask for more.

The customer service I received from stonebond was outstanding! Veronica Simes was amazing from our first meeting to completion. She did all she could to ensure that my family and I were well looked after. She was knowledgeable, professional, gave good advice, and ensured that I was kept in the loop throughout. Stonebond’s building specification are at a very high standard, modern and of good quality. The home demo and handover was astounding, Lesley gave us a lot of useful information and took her time to ensure that I knew almost everything about my new home. I’ll definitely recommend this house builder to anyone looking for a new home. :)

Stonebond properties have already been recommended to all my friends and family who are looking at new builds. Not only has the service been amazing, but the quality of the buildings and developments are brilliant. The recent development i’ve moved into at woodside place is so well thought out, and its evident that a lot of care has gone into this development when compared to others. The customer care process from the moment you enquire right through to after you move in is very professional, and they look to go the extra mile to make sure you are happy with everything. Veronica has been brilliant since the start of the process, and i really can’t fault anything. Since moving in the customer care team are always there to help as well. I also have friends in the building and property trade who have all told me how impressed they were with the properties inside and out when compared with other new build developments.

We purchased a home from Stonebond in December 2020. We are really pleased with our home. Before we completed, Stonebond had good customer service, responded to our emails very quickly and we’re keen to help with anything we needed. They chose Connells as their agent. Connells were not very knowledgable about the property or the land that we we were buying (off plan). So far we have been living at our property for 6 months and we have encountered 27 issues/snags, which is more than the average for a new build (especially from a ‘premium’ builder) some have been fixed but we still have a few remaining that Stonebond do not seem bothered in rectifying. We chase on a weekly basis and the only response we have is ‘we are chasing this’ , ‘we are escalating this’. Seems as most issues we have it’s such a pain to get fixed. On multiple occasions there were parts that needed to be ordered, then stonebond ordered the wrong part. For example, when the ground worker came to fix an issue, Stonebond said ‘it was an administration error’ they wouldn’t say sorry we made a mistake. We had an issue with our external door to the garage in the middle of winter and when we asked for this to be fixed, we had a response saying we should just YouTube it and fix ourselves.. quite the customer service. We are not the only people on this road that had so many issues to fix and our home is definitely not the worst for issues. After living here for a few months we have come across an article saying that our private road is going to be extended by another 7 houses, this came as a huge shock that Stonebond never warned us. The advertisement was ‘7 exclusive properties’ and now this is going to be done in phases and we’re unaware how many phases there will be!? We got in touch with Stonebond and asked about this, their response was that they haven’t purchased the land so we thought we would have an o non resident call and see if they will get the same response. Stonebond then told this person that yes, it’s theirs and they are making advertisement leaflets. We’re unsure why they would lie. We feel very frustrated seeing that Stonebond are quick to advertise new properties and various other posts on their social media. We do not feel they are looking after customers who have already purchased one of their properties.
