FAQ

What qualifications do your instructors have, and what kind of experience do they have in rock climbing?

Our instructors are all certified by the British Mountaineering Council and have extensive experience in rock climbing, with many having climbed all over the world. They also undergo regular training to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and safety procedures.

What kind of gear is included in the cost of the classes?

We provide all necessary climbing gear, including harnesses, helmets, ropes, and climbing shoes. We also have additional equipment available for rent, such as belay devices and chalk bags.

What types of climbing routes are available at your facility?

Our facility offers a variety of climbing routes that cater to climbers of all skill levels, from beginner to advanced. We have both indoor and outdoor walls, with routes ranging from easy slab climbs to challenging overhangs.

What is the instructor-to-student ratio in your classes?

We maintain a low instructor-to-student ratio to ensure that each participant receives personalized attention and instruction. Our classes typically have one instructor for every four to six students.

How do you ensure the safety of participants during the classes?

Safety is our top priority, and we take a number of measures to ensure that our classes are as safe as possible. These include thorough safety briefings, proper use of equipment, regular equipment inspections, and trained instructors who are certified in first aid and rescue techniques. We also require all participants to sign a waiver acknowledging the risks of rock climbing.

These rocks are a great place to explore and climb. They can get rather busy with people rock climbing at weekends and during holidays, but at other times they are tranquil and quiet. The are below the footpath so it is well worth detouring off and round to explore them better and see their full beauty. Parking is a bit of an issue here and the narrow lane doesn't help with access.

Always somewhere to climb or boulder, the lower reaches are very erode, so difficult to start.
