A fascinating place to visit. Such history! Watch out for the car-park... paying the £3 by contactless is a bit flaky... Suggest you take coin. The tea and scones from the tea room were delicious - but at busy times expect a wait as the server has to prepare all the barista-style coffees. My review sounds a bit negative - but we had a thoroughly enjoyable time, and I'd recommend visiting.
