Why do we pay poll tax and not get anything done, there is a path across from my house which as a 2ft foot path which no one can walk on because of 4ft weeds and nettles so kids have to go on the road, when ringing up to question when the council are going to do it might aswel talk to my backside......hope no child gets knocked down thats all I can say, Absolutely disgusting.

Absolute shambles. For weeks the website to apply for council tax support has not worked, call them and it's an automated phone call that tells you to apply online. The websites info is over 2 years old and is impossible to apply for council tax support. Thank you for adding to my stress and mental health issues, recently got support from family and now hoping with support to sort this mess out that the council have created. Good luck to you if your after help from the council, in my experience they DONT CARE

Contacted the council on 3 seperate occasions over the past couple of years. Broken bin, grass on main rd too long causing restricted visibility to leave the junction, and lastly a dangerous pothole on the lights at chell heath rd. Each complaint was rectified in 2 days, thats what i call a prompt response , well done stoke on trent city conucil.

I've been complaining about my neighbours dumping rubbish in their own garden for the past 5 months and now they started burning them, I told the council and send them pictures and videos but still waiting for them to take an action. They said they will come back to me, and that was a month ago... what the point paying council tax ??!

Not even an option for zero...disgusting customer service...my step Dad has left the area and I'm told by Stoke Council they cannot close his council tax account unless it's done online...he is 78 with no idea how to do this... disgusting...if he had no family ...how would he have closed this..... . Thank goodness he has left this area... its so behind the times... and very unkind to elderly people trying to sort their business....AWFUL...

It is amazing how public money is used by these corrupt people. It's not their money so they "waste it wisely". I've never seen so many unnecessary work being carried out in such an incompetent way. But I suppose this is what we can get in a country that believes a strong State is needed.
