Update as of February 2022: Ever since the site of this war memorial had become a Coronavirus testing and kit collection site, it somewhat gained a sort of tatty feel to it, particularly in evenings when the Test & Trace staff left for the day. One can only hope that this kind of feeling or atmosphere will cease once the ad-hoc pandemic testing and kit collection site ceases functioning here.
