Inconsistency in communication between staff and HR department, woefully disorganised HR team. I had my bank contract terminated with no letter of explanation after I had booked on to retake a training course. The higher up staff have no compassion and staff are routinely undervalued. I felt discriminated against due to health issues and also realised that the corporate gender diversity policy is not appropriately implemented. I was misgendered constantly due to lack of appropriate training and the hospital apparently did not make a note of my gender identity by admission of their own hospital director. I was met with rudeness and dismissivness from the hospital Director when I dared to make a complaint about this. Their actions and policies do not line up. They couldn't even spell my name right (let alone make a note of my gender, pointing out that they have so many staff they can't possibly follow their own policies properly). The below email was the response I got when I tried to make the hospital director aware of the things I had experienced and also when I explained that she shouldn't have assumed my gender by assigning me a title in her correspondence with me that was incorrect. I am escalating the issue as no one at the hospital is being helpful and I am being treated with almost outright hostility. I am sure many others have had a similar experience , either as patients or staff. And can see the hospital has other bad reviews from ex staff. I have family who have worked in clinical psychology for the NHS who have drawn my attention to the fact that the CQC reviewed this hospital as "requires improvement". Clearly the hospital has massive issues but they are too arrogant to acknowledge them, or to think being rude to ex staff has consequences, despite all their training regarding caring about their staff and encouraging staff to give feedback.

Awful place to work, huge issues that were not addressed by senior management. Nurses treated appalinly. Patients were lovely to work alongside as were the healthcare, domestics, catering staff etc. If you like to be not listened to and pushed fro. Pillar to post then this is the place to work.
