If you are looking to start working towards physical and mental goals, waste no time in dropping Stobbsie a message. Taking the dive myself 5 months ago, I couldn't be any more happier with the changes that I have noticed in myself when both looking in the mirror and reflecting on my mood and energy levels. The studio has all the equipment you will need, in a private, super convenient location. The man himself is an engaging and supporting person, all the while making the process as enjoyable and knowledgeable as possible. I just wish I would have started the process sooner!

Fantastic! This guy goes above and beyond every week, every day infact if you need it. George is always there at the end of a phone for all of his clients and has been my biggest supporter since day one. George makes tailored personalised training plans for each of his clients and has a brilliant way of tracking and keeping us accountable for our nutrition and our workouts. He is there to keep us going and pushes us when we need it most. George lends an ear, knowing that it’s #morethanphysical and gives us the mental support that comes with changing our mindset when it comes to training. Along with this a friendly group chat and the feeling of all being in it together makes the journey easier (for me at least). George is forever attending seminars and finding ways of bettering himself in order to do better by his clients and who doesn’t want a PT who is willing to learn with you. The most genuine guy I’ve come across in the PT world.

It’s amazing how much I’ve learned from him over these months, and I’ve seen a big change physically and mentally. Everything is tailored to your needs and he’s really respectful, kind and creates an environment that supports learning and growth. Having someone to check in with and offer advice in and outside of the gym was really helpful in growing my confidence and I can now walk into any gym and know exactly what I need to do, what machines to use, and how to use them to maximise each workout. I have known Stobsie a long time and used him to improve my training massively since he began coaching. My goals have changed from weight loss to hitting big strength goal pbs, he has adapted all my plans around these targets. With a recent job change to working in Mercedes amg f1 pit crew, Stobsie has massively adapted my plan to keep power and strength using a different hotel gym every week. He has worked with me through on going injuries with adaptation to plans to maintain strength and not progress injuries anymore. I recommend his coaching plans to beginners and intermediate gym users , you will be given honest and reliable feedback/advice any time of the day or night. Take the step sooner rather than later getting a coach

If you are the same as me, the idea of a PT is daunting or maybe even intimidating, but I have never been so wrong. Joining Stobbs has been eye opening, whether its to get rid of weight or try and reach personal gain goals (which is both for me) or nursing injuries or have limited movements in joints (like I do) this guy is the real deal. Incredibly knowledgeable, supportive and motivating in a session or out. Most importantly just a class bloke, great guy, with an amazing family.. worth every penny, a lot of people think PT's are overpriced and unnecessary, trust me, no regrets at all. When I started my mental wellbeing was shot, not even my wife or family knew, after having several injuries preventing me from working for a long duration of time, I turned to food.. smoking.. everything bad I could, to ironically try and feel good, but Stobbs has looked after me, made session plans around my injuries, supported me probably more than he thinks he has due to my goofy wall I put out to make me appear fine, mentally.. physically I'm getting on the right track and it's thanks to him, if this is similar for you then I couldn't recommend it enough. He offers more than just his knowledge and experience in fitness, he'll also discuss mental health. He understands it's not always how you look on the outside. He'll be patient with you no matter if you're gym noobie or avid gym goer.

Went along to Stobbsie Fitness this evening with my friend and our children (aged 16 and 17) to a “taster session” We didn’t really know what to expect being complete beginners! George (coach) was very welcoming, and explained everything in a professional manner about what we was going to be doing. The studio is quite small but I liked this as it made it more personal, it’s very clean and well equipped. We had a warm up session first which was fun then we got started on the actual circuit training, there was different apparatus’ to use which works all areas of the body. I’m not going to lie it was hard but George never pushed you to do more than what you was comfortable with. I personally think he was being gentle as it was our first time! I’m sure next time we will be pushed a little harder, but no pain no gain! We came away feeling great (legs felt like jelly!) but this a positive for me and we will definitely be going back next week! Finally a place to go without feeling intimidated by others, thank you Stobbsie Fitness!
