This guest house is well positioned between the racecourse and the City, 15 mins each way with bus stops right outside. I stayed on the top floor, room 6, which was a reasonable size room, albeit strange shape with a fair sized bathroom. Freeview Tv and a good supply of tea, coffee, milk and 2 bottles of water. Additionally there is a fridge in the room. Apart from seeing cleaners, friendly and approachable, you keep yourself to yourself. There is no breakfast. This guest house suited my stay in York Food & drinks: Shops, restaurants and pubs within 5 mins walk

Great location close to town, suited perfectly for my friend visiting York. Very easy check in over the phone as all doors work via codes, so no face to face checkin. Rooms very clean. Plenty of towels and tea and coffee facilities. Check out could do with being a bit later. Noteworthy details: Winning post pub over the road great for food.

Very terrible service！！No one was in reception and nobody answered the call. This led us to find another hotel!! We booked 2 nights. On the second day the hotel directly cancelled our accommodation for no reason!!! And the agent refused to provide a refund to us. So terrible!! Never met this situation before!! The staff only excused anything. Please don't go. This hotel will let you feel bad when you are in travel!!!
