I bought a used boat from Mark at Stingray. he is a dishonest, untrustworthy man, showing me a video of 2 working engines and stating they only needed a service where they needed to be replaced at a cost of £12k. He then referred his mechanic SPW marine to help repair who was such a liability that the boat could have sunk, he broke parts and charged double the amount. Then i had to pay to repair his damage. After attempts to get compensation from Mark he refused. Buy a boat from this man at your peril and be prepared for the potentially dire consequences. Highly unprofessional and unethical.

Just bought a Stingray powerboat through Mark - the owner of stingray boats UK. He brokered the deal for us as one of his customers was selling the boat. In our search for a boat i spoke with too many dealers and brokers to even count!! Some were shockingly bad, some didn't even bother to return our calls and others were as dodgy as hell! Mark on the other hand - responded to our queries, instantly, made offers on behalf of us and finally when we bought the boat his service levels were simply EXCEPTIONAL!! Mark treated us seriously and was an asset to the seller of the boat. He treated us efficiently, professionally and as a result made the sale! The service did not stop there however! He arranged for the boat to be delivered to us, answered a lot of very stupid questions from a newbie boater and when i was about to be fleeced on a service he arranged for an industry colleague to do the service at £100 less than i had been quoted. The bill of sale arrived today which finally concludes the deal. If ever you are looking for an honest, professional, reliable and trustworthy boat broker, call Mark as quiet frankly he is fantastic at what he does and with over 30 years experience in the marine sales market if he doesn't have what you want he'll find it and make sure the deal and boat are the right one FOR YOU!! Mark - thanks again - see you in 1-2 years time for the upgrade!!
