Spent a couple of nights at the Stifford Hall Hotel for a wedding. Our first night was in a double room, that unfortunately had some noisy neighbours. After leaving it for an hour, and hoping they'd go to bed, by 11pm, we weren't happy. A quick call to the service desk (we'd read a lot of reviews and owner responses to the reviews, and the owner had wanted to know about problems then and there, not after the case) we informed them of our issue. Within five minutes we'd been moved to a peaceful room, where we both promptly got a great night's rest. Both rooms are clean, showers had good power, bed was comfortable enough for us both. Staff were polite, a couple of breakfast servers were a little inefficient, but I think that would come with a few more years of experience. On the whole a pleasant enough stay, it does baffle me that hotels often don't invest in accoustic insulation, especially situated close by to a busy road, and having thin walls. Even a panel of home made rockwool panels on each wall would go a long way to cutting down noise.

Wow...what can I say. My son & new daughter in law got married at this event on Saturday 20th May 2023 & I feel the staff went above & beyond to make their day very special. Especially Amanda, she's an amazing organiser & wedding co-ordinator. Thank you once again. The venue is amazing, grounds beautiful, food very tasty, staff friendly, rooms comfortable, I can honestly say I cannot find a fault in any of it. The walls are paper thin, you hear everything from neighbouring room. Laying awake listening to others snore. The room has the feel of a poor quality motel or student accommodation. Dated decor and approach. Average bar food. Limited alcohol free options, just Coke /j20 etc (no 0%) Friendly staff. Room spotlessly clean although the black bathroom mould needs maintenence along with the limescale on the shower head making the water fire in every direction apart from me. Nowhere useful to store things (1 wall mounted rail and 4 hangers, just open cubby cupboards) have had to live out of my suitcase. The corridors had the feel of an old peoples home. I am here on business and will never stay here again. Looking forward to going home.

We recently had our Wedding here and I have to say it was perfect. A special mention to Amanda who helped us plan it all and made the whole process reassuring and absolutely delivered on the day along with her whole team. We literally couldn't have done it without her! Everyone was super super friendly and accommodating on the day and made everyone feel special and welcome. We went for the BBQ option for the day (even though it was raining!) and were not disappointed - I just wish I could've eaten more! The surrounding grounds made a nice backdrop for our photos and they even allowed the use of a drone from our Videographer. It was really nice to just chill out under the canopy in the evening when the party was happening. The room was clean, tidy and spacious and they even put petals and towel swans on our bed which was a lovely touch. The breakfast was great in the morning which we enjoyed with the rest of our family and friends. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough and if you're looking to get married in the area it's worth checking out. Amanda and the team are amazing! Thanks so much, M & D.

We attended a wedding this weekend which was absolutely lovely and helped having such a nice hotel location which was easy to drive to and had loads of parking spaces. As soon as we arrived the reception were lovely enough to explain the parking situation and how i can validate the car and later on they saw that i had a toddler with me and they explained how they had a room available especially for nappy changes. this was sooo convenient and i wish more places did this. It made our night stress free. We would gladly book a stay here in the future based purely on knowing how well the staff were. I had noted that the name badges for the workers were Monica and Martina, so kudos to them for having such a great customer relation.
