Servicing of Rolex Tudor Submariner . Excellent service took six months due to the age of the watch, but worth the wait. Rolex world service, informed me that due to the age of this timepiece { I bought it in 1963} they couldn't work on it !! So once again thanks to Steven Hale Watch Restoration & Servicing for coming to the rescue.

Took my watch in to try and get a quote to repair the strap. Very space age inside with lots of impressive equipment. One of Steve's minions took the watch upstairs for Steve to see. After about 20mins I was told the job was too hard and if they did attempt it there would be no guarantee of success and it would cost the best part of £1000! (Yes you read it correctly -to repair a broken strap). When I questioned the price the minion told me they have plenty of work and don`t really need jobs like this. Maybe the experience was honest, but as the watch was only worth a couple of grand, I did feel it was basically a polite brush off. -I don't like giving poor reviews, maybe I caught them on a bad day. In response to your reply it was last September 2022 and it was a Heuer Kentucky with a broken strap to be repaired, not replaced. I certainly remember the incident!

I required servicing for my Patek Calatrava 3919J and my father’s vintage Baume et Mercier. After having had disappointing service from both Patek and Baume et Mercier previously, a friend who has a great deal of knowledge about watches recommended Steven Hale. I followed his advice and I could not be more pleased with the results. Not only was the quality of customer care very high and the speed with which the service done remarkable, the quality of the work done was impeccable. Both watches are in fine order and I fully intend to use Steven Hale for the servicing of these, and my other watches, in the future.

After having read numerous on-line reviews about Simon, I decided to take in my Rolex Submariner for a service and polish. They are excellent to deal with from start to finish. Both James and Jubal and incredibly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The whole process took approx. 6 weeks until my pride and joy was returned to me looking as good as brand new. I was so impressed that I have now dropped off my older Tag Chrono with them. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Thank you so very much.
