I wish they can ask parents before treating my daughter who’s not 18 yet. I suggest to all parents to not go there or treat your children without your clear authorisation! It doesn’t deserve even a star in my opinion

It has been a couple of years my family have been utilising the services at Stepping Stones Clinic. We have come so far since diagnosis' , measures, and adaptations to my children's lives have been put in place. The peace of mind in being surrounded by knowledgeable, empathetic professionals who allow the children to be themselves and truly listen, is profound. Knowing my children trust the Dr's and are not averse to appointments and suggestions is paramount as this shows me they feel heard and seen. The flexible thinking and desire to work with families is not often present in other services I have accessed. I have recommended Stepping Stones to many people who have seen my children settle and thrive. I cannot recommend it enough, to explore and support your children in a world that is already a struggle to navigate.

Trudie and her colleagues have been exceptional in their care of our daughter. She took time to listen to all of our concerns and anxieties, gave a thoughtful diagnosis which was then confirmed with a number of tests, and then recommended a treatment plan which has made a significant difference to our daughter's well-being. We really needed this support as she transitioned from primary to secondary school and Trudie has been alongside us through what could otherwise have been a very difficult year. Instead, with appropriate medication, regular reviews and clinical back-up, our daughter has thrived, made good friends and even won two academic awards at the end of the year. We would thoroughly recommend Stepping Stones Clinic for children and young people and their families.

I highly recommend Steeping Stones Clinc and Dr Rossouw. Invaluable help and support has been provided myself and my children during their diagnosis and on going support and treatment. She has enabled us to understand and embrace their neuro diversity and empowered us to make informed decisions and choices about medication. The clinic has communicated very clearly, and promptly with us and our GP. Dr Rossouw has responded to urgent requests for help and support quickly, compassionately and constructively.

My son was prescribed Sertraline so freely by Dr Rousseux after one consultation and did not respond to one email or phone call of concern. . As a parent I paid the extortionate fees out of desperation for ‘help’. Fortunately for us, my son stopped taking the medication after 4 weeks and didn’t want to continue the weekly sessions with a ‘less expensive option’ consultant. Our experience overall was shocking and my heart goes out to all those children and parents who are so vulnerable in a desperately underfunded NHS system who will find ways to pay anything to help their kids.
