I had been looking for a birthday gift for a friend of mine who had been very unwell. I found an item which seemed a perfect present on Mr Stephen Wheeler’s website. After several days trying to make contact via telephone I finally managed to speak with Mr Wheeler. I wanted to view the item in person and Mr Wheeler, therefore, agreed to put it to one side for me until I could visit the shop in two days’ time. I called Mr Wheeler the very next day to confirm my visit to the shop only to be told he had sold the item to another customer abroad. When I asked why he had done so after promising to reserve it for me I was told I should have bought it when I had the chance and “not to make a fuss”. Rude, arrogant and unprofessional would be the three best words to describe Mr Stephen Wheeler. Avoid!
