Berzerker Blitzkrieg
Aftercare - repairs on their pieces is appalling. I was eventually offered a repair to be done in exactly the same design etc, as the failed weak design that I truly believe to be a SW manufacturing fault. This would no doubt have also failed very quickly as my broken bracelet had very little use. This repair was firmly declined! I had my heavy silver (150g) bracelet examined by two very reputable independent jewellery repair specialists & they both came to the same conclusion. The design of the SW locking mechanism on the bracelet, mainly the locking threaded bar made out of 925 silver was too soft for the actual weight of the bracelet. They even advised me that as an example, lightweight silver earrings should not be made with a threaded fastener as the metal is too soft & will eventually fail. So why would you have a weak threaded silver bar fastener on a heavy 150g bracelet I ask? Myself & my partner own several SW pieces between us and will not be purchasing anymore in the future. As the saying goes "Fashions always Fade but quality lasts Forever" Alas SW is in the fade away category. Buyers beware as if you buy in haste then you may have to repent at leisure, like I am now with my expensive, useless, unusable silver bracelet which is only worth scrap value!
