If you are looking for a Funeral Director that puts loved ones before numbers then look no further :Stephen & Philip Painter, I researched and chose this funeral director because they are a member of The National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) Moreover, they are an independent family run company that do not go in for the hard sell and their prices were lower than the bigger funeral chains; we were allowed to confidently choose what we really needed and could afford. Ms V Bardell, assisted us throughout the whole process, she allowed us the breathing space we so much needed to come to terms with our loss and guiding us through the logistics of organising a funeral involving third parties.

Fantastic personalised service. Made me feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. From start to finish they were there for my whole family and helped me personalise my husbands funeral. They made him look wonderful for the viewing. The funeral was as good as it could be and Philip and his colleagues were very professional but so kind and took care of everything. Can’t thank them enough for everything they did for us.

We were recommended Stephen and Phillip Funeral Directors by a personal friend after the passing of my mother. I called and spoke to Stephen and found him extremely knowledgeable around Hindu cremation requirements and this helped me considerably. With the strict conditions around at this current time I found Stephen and the team very understanding to our needs in order to give my mother the correct send-off according to our beliefs. He and the team did not fail us and he ensured that all our wishes and desires were met. We were able to say goodbye complete knowing that we had done everything we needed. Very shortly after the passing of my dear mother I also lost my father without hesitation I engaged the services of Stephen and his team with the confidence and knowledge that again they would ensure all of our needs would be met, again all we needed and could do for my father was handled sensitively by Stephen and the team.
