Renate is a wonderful person and teacher. She provides classes for all. I have been coming now for 41/2 years and love her holistic approach. Mindful thoughts, importance of breath, inclusive yoga and relaxation with gentle music - truly wonderful. I thoroughly recommend to anyone who is curious, unsure, nervous (as I once was), or returning to yoga.

Step into Yoga is the focal point of my week. It’s like stepping into a pool of warm water where worries, cares, frustrations and many other negative emotions are washed away. It’s not just about postures for the body, but sustenance for the mind in the form of breathing and relaxation techniques at the start and end of each session. Also included for free are some pearls of wisdom to ponder on during the subsequent days until the next session arrives. Suffice to say I would attend every day if I could.

Mother and Baby Yoga: As a busy mum of two, Renate’s yoga sessions were so healing and relaxing! Each week, I looked forward to attending the sessions and having some much needed one-on-one time with my second born. I would often arrive frazzled or tired from the morning rush and leave feeling revitalised and empowered for the week ahead. I’m pretty sure my daughter felt the same too! I really enjoyed Renate’s style and her fun approach to yoga. She was so flexible in the sessions and let the babies take the lead whilst not forgetting us mums. I will thoroughly miss the weekly sessions once I return to work, but I will remember them as a really positive part of my maternity leave.

Yoga is new to me and I immediately felt at ease and fell in love with it after doing just one of Renates class. I now go regularly - not only does it have physical benefits to my body, but Renates positive attitude and techniques also helps with my mental health too. I loved it so much that I also attend the mother and baby yoga with my 5month old baby. We both get a good stretch and Renate will also hold the babies so the mummies can have a 5min time out/relax at the end :-) I would thoroughly recommend!

I thoroughly enjoy Renate's Yoga classes, her style, attitude and her bubbly personality and enthusiasm are infectious. On the physical side, Renate's Yoga classes of posture-based physical fitness and relaxation techniques have certainly made me more flexible, have improved my balance and breathing as well as maintaining a level of fitness. She also encourages mental and spiritual practice for a yoga philosophy of mental wellbeing in the way we live. I would recommend Renate’s classes for everyone.

I have learnt a lot from my chair yoga classes, the breathing technique especially, this has been very helpful with my long term medical condition, it helps me relax and very useful with consultation and interventions. The exercises are varied and well thought out, the relaxation at the end, plus our clearing up ‘game’ puts a smile on our faces, well done and thanks Renata.

I've been to Renate's classes for many years now: she has taught me to love my body, rejoice in what it can do and forgive what it can't. I started yoga with the intention of staying supple and mobile, despite my MS, and it works. I have greatly improved my balance, strength and suppleness. Classes also give me a depth of peace and wellbeing which I carry with me through the week. 6-in-6-out breathing, sleep tape and relaxation are now integral to my life, as is at least one class a week!

Renate is an excellent, kind, knowledgeable and fun teacher. I’ve been attending her classes for over 3 years, first in person and then since lockdown I follow the class virtually. Her classes are energising and enjoyable. Renate’s directions are clear and precise and are truly for all levels as she encourages you to work at your own pace. I have definitely got more from each pose as I’ve progressed and even though I can now work hard I still somehow come out relaxed. I highly recommend Step into Yoga
