Avoid. After having to wait for over 3 weeks for an appointment - I took my car in (for what I thought) was a service this morning. Just been to collect it to discover that they had just carried out diagnostics test and for this alone they charge £168!!! The results of the diagnostics told me that - surprise surprise - a service was overdue! Really annoyed at having to pay this ridiculous price for something I thought I was getting anyway. When I dropped the car in the morning, I told the service receptionist that I’d brought it in for a service and he didn’t correct me - he even said the job might not be carried out that day because they had a ‘man down’. There wasn’t much sympathy for the fact that I need my car to get to and from work and the inconvenience it would cause to bring it back another day. On collection I was told that, because I’d signed the form, I should have known it was for a diagnostics test. I was also told to pick up the car at 5:15pm at the latest, but was waiting until 6. With the exception of Chris, who read the room well and gave me some discount for the misunderstanding, the other reception staff need some training in customer service. As well as the issue that I had, there were queues left waiting in the morning and the evening - sometimes wondering where the staff had disappeared to. I’ll be looking for a different garage to take my car to from now on. Crazy prices, poor customer service and communication. Update: Thank you for the response below. It was a shame that the service manager wasn’t available to speak with me directly about this on the day, nor return my call when I phoned a couple of days later. I was under the impression that my car was booked in to have a check and a service. I would never have agreed to pay nearly £170 for a diagnostic check, which in itself only takes an hour (as I was told) and requires no parts. This is extortionate. I am grateful for the discount on the fuel flush - as I said, Chris seemed to be the only person with some emotional intelligence on that day. He was also the only one who noticed the queue building and took action to try to get it moving which is why I’m changing my review from 1 to 2 stars. There were several unhappy customers there when I was waiting - it felt like they had a lot of business (Lord only knows why with those prices), but not enough people to manage with it. They need more staff and longer opening hours to cope with it.

SERVICE DEPARTMENT ARE ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING - THAT IS WHEN YOU EVENTUALLY MANAGE TO SPEAK TO THEM! My DS7 was booked in for some warranty work at Chingford (which is my nearest branch for service) 1hr40 minute drive away. They really do need to work on the dealer support. The parts were unavailable and had to be ordered from France, I waited 8 weeks and then had a phone-call prior to Christmas to book the vehicle in, which I did for Mid January. I then called the day prior the ensure all was still okay and my hire car would be waiting in which they all confirmed - HAPPY. I then get a phone-call a mere few hours 30 minutes before closing time saying not to come in the morning as the parts hadn't arrived, even though they had just confirmed that morning all was okay - the communication between them and the call handling centre is shocking. I had already booked a day's annual leave due to the distance of the dealership in which I couldn't I couldn't cancel (complete waste of my time and annual leave) Elisavet the service manager then contacted me and worked with me to get the parts pushed through and that they would drop my vehicle back to me on completion (which they apparently wouldn't usually do as I live so far away) I was then contacted about 10 days later by Elisavet saying the parts were in and to book, I booked in for Monday February 13th and was told it would be ready that day and would be dropped off. I called around 3pm for an update, couldn't get through, promised a call back NOTHING. Tuesday from 8am-5pm I tried to get through to this service department for some clarity, was pushed from pillar to post, promised call backs NOTHING - more of my time WASTED trying to do your service departments job. I finally get a call back around 5pm saying my car was completed and I could collect. I said it was arranged via the service manager that it would be dropped off " he said no, nothing here saying that" at this point I am seething, he then called back 15 minutes later saying okay we can drop it WHY THANKS HOW THOUGHTFUL. We are now Wednesday 15th and the wrong DS7 in the wrong colour was just driven 1hr45 to my house, feel sorry for the poor customer who's car has just had mileage and wasted fuel. The delivery driver just grunted and said ill be back later. I have now been trying for 1 hour to get back through to the service department, I thought I would try the SALES line, and surprise I got straight through, I asked to be internally transferred to service which they did, I asked to be put through to Elisavet apparently not available, he was very dismissive and said he was with a customer and he would call me back (I know they wont) I demanded that it was rectified there and then but he refused to help. DO NOT USE THIS DEARLERSHIP FOR SERVICE REQUIREMENTS, THEY ARE USELESS.

As an existing client of Robins Day Chingford, I recently took receipt of my new vehicle (Citeron C5 Aircross C series), the process was extremely easy and straightforward. Jack from the sales team was very friendly and helpful answered all queries from start to finish, he kept me informed in regards to the tracking & delivery dates. The hand over was stress free, and done very professionally (shown the cars new functions etc). Elton the manager was very supportive and was also willing to assisted with updates, overall extremely helpful & friendly. I have had 2 vehicle from Robins & Day/ Stellantis and have received 5 star service from all staff members that I have dealt with. I highly recommend purchasing your new vehicle from the team. Service and repairs - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICES. AVOID!!! But good job to CHRIS - ask for him and don't deal with anyone else. UPDATE: they never even called me to discuss what happened - as promised below - disappointing. I brought my car here for a major service, which then resulted in a number of repairs recommended. Here is what happened: 1) NO UPDATES at all for 5 days. The only update I got was that they were waiting for parts - for the REPAIRS WHICH WERE NOT EVEN NECESSARY. 2) All my calls, messages (they provided a text chat for updates) and emails were IGNORED - NOBODY ANSWERING the calls and NOT CALLING BACK either. I received an Out of Office email from the manager. 3) Robins & Day online team could not contact them either. 4) In the online report they authorized work for the amount twice more than what I was told - and never called me back to discuss - this is FRAUD !!!!. When booking the service the manager failed to explain that the service price does not include oils, plugs etc - came as a surprise. 5) After being without my car for 6 days, I went to the branch myself - it turned out that NO WORK WAS DONE at all - even the minor repairs for which they had parts straight-away. I was lucky to speak to someone who actually knew their job - CHRIS - and he was BRILLIANT. He explained that half of the repairs (costing around £1000!!) were neither needed nor urgent, and he arranged to have other repairs done within 1.5 hours while I was there. Basically all this could have been done in 1 day - instead the car was just sitting there for 6 days until I went there myself. While waiting for my car, I watched how other service employees were dealing with customers - the same LIE is given (we will keep you posted on progress, and you can alway reach out to us). And they are not that busy - instead of chatting to each other and having a laugh they could at least answers calls or call back customers waiting for updates. Also no need to be RUDE - you don't address a customer "mate". Looks like they don't care unfortunately - MOST REVIEWS ARE NEGATIVE - and nothing is being done about it. Very disappointing and also harmful for the Stellantis brands.
