Excellent wine shop, knowledgeable and helpful. Always an eye catching window display, which caught my eye long before I ventured inside. Mainly wine, small selection of spirits and craft beer. An old building, the foundations far older. Stonework leading down below, Roman guardroom of Lindum Colonia (from which Lincoln derives its name). Steep Hill was the Roman Ermine Way. A few suggestions to stock - Amos Owen moonshine craft vodka - Hidden Curiosities Gin craft gin - Silent Pool Gin - Neon Raptor craft beer

Good collection of local ales and bitters. Wine selection is good too. The owner showed me a wine worth £800 and £2500 (I hope I got the price right :)) It was a great experience and will come back again in the future. Highly recommend place.

My Fiancé and I stayed at 25 Steep Hill last weekend and it was truly glorious. We were due to go with our friends, however this was changed last minute and Rob couldn't have been more understanding and accommodating. The house is beautiful and perfectly located in the centre of Lincoln - we were greeted with a wonderful hamper, filled with lots of treats for our stay. We also treated ourselves to a bottle or two of wine from the shop below - Nigel was a great help with choosing. Thank you again for being the perfect host Rob, we can't wait to stay again!
