Wonderful experience, thank you to Ian - today's Captain and all the very welcoming and knowledgeable crew. We were able to view all areas, including the engine room - hot, noisy and very interesting, then the bridge, with all its gadgets, husband was in seventh heaven 🤩

Enjoyed our afternoon cruise viewing Cruise ships etc. All the staff are wonderful and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. It was a bit choppy that day but hardly any movement could be felt. We visited the Bridge and Engine Room. Wholly recommend!

Set off on a Sunday from berth 110 in the docks at Southampton with nearby parking dedicated to the Shieldhall for a wonderful 8 hour relaxing trip. So smooth, and expertly guided over the loud speaker as we went past famous places on the Isle is White and Southampton like Osborne House. The crew (all volunteers) were amazing and all happy to tell you all about the wonderful old ship! And the engine room must not be missed, engineering in action is an understatement...it was more like a treasure trove of knowledge and practical applications of physics at its best.

A very interesting experience if you like steam powered ships. It was a good 3 hour plus cruise into the Solent, with commentary from the crew. Also, if you don't mind getting rather warm, there was visits to the engine room and the bridge too. Another highly recommended experience.
