Restaurant is located on the main road so parking was a bit of pain to begin with but there is a car park which is a short walk away. Staff were friendly and service was good. For starters we had the tempura shrimp and calamari both of which were exquisite, both had a light crispy batter, the calamari came with a tartare sauce which of course complimented the flavours brilliantly. The shrimp came with a panzu sauce which was a bit potent for my liking nevertheless it wasn't half bad. For the main course ordered a rib eye which came cooked beautifully medium rare however was slightly lacking in seasoning. Also had the mushroom and chimichurri sauce - mushroom was decent, chimichurri was nice (nothing special)... For sides had the mash which was pretty average and the mac and cheese which was awful, was very bland and tasteless! For dessert we had the chocolate fondant, there was quite a wait for this only for it to be quite underwhelming... the presentation did not do this dish any favours. Was lacking that depth of chocolate flavour and was also lacking in richness.

We had a delicious Birthday celebration meal with the highlights being the bone marrow on sourdough starter. The steaks were perfectly cooked and super tender . The service was a perfect combination of helpful attention but not over powering .

Nice restaurant, when we walked in few days ago was full of smoke, extractor issues 😅 . Food is nice , delicious ribeye. We ordered few plates but salad were ridiculously small .
