It’s a statue of United States President George Washington in Trafalgar Square, London. Fun Fact: It’s allegedly built on top of soil from Virginia, U.S. since President Washington stated he “would never step foot on English soil again”. The original statue that this was modeled from is still in Virginia.

It a bronze statue, one of several copied from a marble original. Washington is seen with a fascia, the symbol of Roman law, "Res publica" (affairs of the people) the origin of the word republic.
