(Translated by Google) Visitor center is next to the butterfly garden. Here you will find some information about the power plant. But here you can also have a drink with cake or cake. Very friendly people. There are also some toys that can be borrowed to use outside on the lawn, which makes it a nice addition for children to a visit to the butterfly garden.

Recently we visited the Rheidol Power Station with our 10yr old Grandsons. Our guide Barbara gave an excellent explanation of the history and process which helped the boys realise the practical use of local natural resources. The tour pre booking process is very easy. Kirsty was most helpful in the Visitors Centre which has a wonderful cafeteria including delicious cakes.

The tour is free and worth a visit if you are passing. Very forward thinking facility considering it was built over 50 years ago. The tour lasts about 40 min and covers most aspects of the plant. However do not expect a bus tour which I expected. You stay within the one building which isn't that big. Can be difficult for small children as there are no interactive displays to keep then occupied.
