I bought the mig 130 gasless about 6 weeks ago. Flux core is obviously a dirty welding process but the machine seems to work well and I got good results with it on 1.5mm steel. Every now and again the cooling fan makes a funny noise for about 10-15 seconds which is a bit worrying in regards to long term reliability, but even if it only lasts the year I suppose it's good value. It's a nice size and light too which makes it more appealing than my larger mig welder.

Recently bought a small mig welder and I am very pleased with both the welder and the back up from the company. The machine I bought was a 130amp inverter DC gasless mig welder. What a little gem ! Unlike most lower end price range machines this has 2 rotary knobs to control the power and wire speed. Most others have just 2 switches which gives you a maximum combination of 6 settings. With the rotary knobs your adjustments are limitless which when working with thin steel, like car bodies, makes the difference between a good deep weld and a blow through hole. Proper customer service that many firms have chosen to forget about or simply ignore. Not Static arc, they are quick, knowledgeable & efficient. Good range of machines, consumables and accessories at good prices. What more could you want.

Extremely impressed MIG130-FS GASLESS WELDER can not believe the results with this welder was expecting a piece of cr~~ for the money how wrong i was build quality fantastic duty cycle brilliant. Site welding is my job ( over 42 years) this will make my life so much easier just plug it into a 3 pin plug socket and away you go. Let a guy who can not mma welder have a go with this but can do a bit of mig and put down a perfect fillet weld first time (you drag not push with a mag welder) so portable unreal no need to carry a gas bottle any more for small jobs. If you are going to get a stick welder forget it buy this mag welder you will not regret it i do not normally put my name to anything but this really deserves it. Also shipping communication all first class from static arc. Thankyou for a great service well done.
