Too many takeaways make it look cheap and nasty. Also the funeral directors opening up amongst them all speaks volumes. Not very tasteful , in fact "utterly gross.'

Starbeck in general is a little quiet place, the locals are a decent crowd and the shops are adequate if you like shopping in charity shops of eating.. starbeck is a community and a close one at that not really somewhere tou would go for a day out but a good laugh on a friday night witha few beers with friends and a decent kebab afterwards.. The gala always attracts a crowd and the hog roast bank holidays at the local club serves up well.. the beers cheap the locals are friendly just dont expect an upmarket experience.
