Booked my car in for brake pads and investigation into a possible exhaust leak. Having taken the day off work I arrived at the garage to be promptly told I was in the wrong place, turns out there are 2 garages. Despite the fact I had to give my address for the booking, and explained I'd chosen to use them as I lived almost next door, I was never told there were w garages and booked in at the wrong one. The guy on the desk was apologetic and said he'd fit me in there, great news. However at 3.30pm he rang to say he'd done my brakes but didn't have time to investigate the problem, I'd need to take another day off work and leave the car there another day. To sum up, I paid top end prices for brake pads. I appreciate the guy fitting me in after a mix up that wasn't his fault. But I'm now booked in elsewhere for the rest of the works and won't be using Stanfield again, or recommending them.
