Not worthy of even One Star. Masters of Obfuscation and Corruption. I thought they were corrupt in the planning Department, it's now apparently spread to all departments. Try to phone them and speak to someone and they go on the warpath of selling their online services. Use their online services and they claim they will sort the problem....... The general public little old lady or gent does not stand a blinking chance. Their whole system is designed to grind down and try to wear you out and IF you as much as raise your voice after they have wound you up or you begine to verbally complain they just want to put the telephone down. Customer Services my Butt. Woke obfuscating World economic agenda following little Commandants who will turn round in the end and say....."I was only doing my job". What is the world comming to.......I know but you would be frightened if I told you. As Howard Jones once sang........."Welcome to Conditioning".

Cut off several times don’t have a computer to do stuff online just to make a complaint of bin men putting other peoples rubbish into my bin leaving me to have to spend 10 minutes removing the smell and cleaning it out. I’d leave them minus star if I could. The service is just geared to rake council tax in

Extremely rude members of staff Jenny in refuse collection needs customer service training. She interrupted, didn’t listen and then refused to give her name until I insisted. Then despite her constantly interrupting when I needed to respond she had the audacity to say I was shouting. Then put the phone down. The privatisation of our waste services to Alliance has meant that in rural areas they won’t collect bottles yet we pay for it through our council tax.

For over 5 years now we have constantly complained to SMDC about the crews who empty our bins. We live on the main A53 in Endon and they either leave the bin blocking the entrance to the drive so we have to stop the car on this busy road, hold up the traffic and move the bin out of the way, or leave it in the middle of the pavement which causes an obstruction to many of the children and parents going to the two schools close by. Despite many emails, photographs and telephone conversations with SMDC nothing changes. This is nothing to do with "unable to get staff after the pandemic" this has gone on well before. Some of the operatives do the job properly and put the bin back just inside the gate at a space which was made to locate the bin, others don't care. The management of these crews seem incapable of sorting this problem and as such they are not doing the job WE pay them for and should step down (of course they will!). Dreadful management.

Extremely rude members of staff, no compassion given extremely hard to get hold of or to recieve any form of update, constantly told to email in I wouldnt even rate 1 star if I didnt have to! Re-train your staff or give the jobs to people who actually have customer service skills and deserve the position.

Are the customer service staff replying to any form of contact from the public. I've been trying to get through for the past week and a half waited 30 minutes today but I wasn't able to wait any longer so had to hang up, before this I've phoned numous times. I've also filled in contact forms regarding council tax nothing either. If I could sort it out on my account I would but on this occasion I need to speak to a actual human being. There's more chance of having dinner with the queen than getting a reply from these.
