We cannot recommend Scott enough! We've sought help from a couple of other trainers in the past to help with our dog Hugo and his fear reactivity towards other dogs and although they have helped slightly, Scott has given us much better guidance and techniques in a more understandable way. Scott is very adept at identifying whether the owner or pet needs training and in this instance it is us much more than Hugo!

We were having issues with our young, reactive doodle and with Scott's help, were able to put a 3 step plan in place which had dramatic results. Reactivity incidents on our walks has been virtually eliminated and we feel more confident as owners.

We would recommend the services of Training Canines without reservation. Scott is a fantastic trainer that quickly got to know our 10 week old puppy, her likes, needs and also us. He made us feel so much more confident as first time owners, and we are so pleased with our girl’s progress over the four sessions of his puppy course. His prices are very reasonable and we absolutely felt that his fees offered good value. We will be continuing our sessions as our girl grows, and would recommend Scott to anyone with a dog of any age.

Scott is fantastic! I met with him before collecting my puppy to check I was prepared, and then training sessions over the first few months. He helped build my confidence as a first time dog owner and I now have a very happy dog who responds to all the basic commands (and even does a few tricks!). Scott has a great understanding of dogs - mine loved Scott from the second he met him and he has clear and easy strategies to help dog learn the commands to help keep them safe and happy. I highly recommend his services.

Last November we decided to get a puppy, having had a dog 8 years ago. The first couple of days were a little overwhelming. Our previous dog had suffered with separation anxiety and we didn’t want this to happen with our pup. We got in touch with Scott and he came round to meet us and the new member of our family. From the first visit Scott was fantastic, totally gave us confidence. Directed us re training, never told us what we were doing was wrong and our little pup listened to every word/instruction he gave her. Scott has natural communication skills with dogs. She has grown into a friendly, loving dog. No anxiety being left alone and do think this wouldn’t of been achieved without Scott’s help. We have no difficulty recommending Scott as a dog trainer.
