Harassment is the only word fit to describe this agency. I had been given a charge of which I was not aware of despite several emails proving I had nothing to do with the payment they still accused me instead of speaking to their client. I told them they’re affecting my mental health to which they responded how so. They want me to pay for an apartment I never saw let alone stepped in and had the audacity to say I lived there for 3 months ( a lie ) on top of this they did not even have a signature of mine on the contract. I understand there a business and have clients but this isn’t a mob that gets money from people for no reason and I’m not sure they understand that.

Scam artists!! Chasing a debt that is up to date. No knowledge of what the so called debt was for. Glad I was cautious. Someone else may not have been so lucky and got scammed. Disgraceful! Will be reporting to ombudsman

Had a letter regarding money I owe to Lavazza. Lavazza didn't have the decency to leave a message to call back about a payment issue. Spoke to someone on the phone who tried his utmost to twist my words to suit a narrative that I should pay. Didn't listen to a word I was saying. Terrible!

Had a letter from them chasing a Lavazza coffee debt, I've never ordered anything from Lavazza. When I finally got through to STA on the phone they had no evidence I'd ordered anything? Shameful putting people under stress without getting the facts and paperwork correct.

+ + + Ended up in debt with a university for signup up for a third year, then dropping out and not attending and arranging for student loan to not cover. Years later the uni used STI Greydon to chase £1000 of debt. Financially was not able to make huge payments to clear it but following financial review from local council was able to submit documentation and agree to a small monthly repayment plan. For this I was thankful and appreciated their willingness to work with me during my financial hardship. - - - Over a decade passed and I was never contacted for review so took it upon myself to call and query outstanding amount, my financial circumstances had changed and I was looking to signfiicantly change my monthly payments to clear the debt. This request was met with a financial questionnaire which resulted in the phone operator very forwardly demanding the full remaining debt be cleared in full there and then. Had the funds/savings to do so and not wanting to draw attention from a debt collector, i obliged and cleared it. Felt somewhat scummy that I went out on a limb to chase status of the debt and what had started out as a friendly call ended on an aggressive note. The whiff of money quite literally changed the tone of the phone operator. ? ? ? Have realised my old standing order for monthly payments continued to run (my failure to cancel) so have some months of payments to request back, let's see how this plays out... EDIT: ignored and hung up on trying to chase. Not worth the few quid lost on this venture, just another greedy company pretending to be helpful.
