After experiencing some exceptionally acute symptoms succeeding extensive medical trauma which I’d been exposed to, I decided to visit the A&E department of St. Thomas’ Hospital. I must state that each of the the NHS alumni that I was treated by at this location truly exceeded every definition of compassion, professionalism, diligence and virtue whilst evaluating my medical indisposition. After having arrived at approximately 21:00, I was evaluated by a doctor within merely 1.5 hours in the most thorough sense, after which, I was assigned to the respective area of intensive medical treatment. During my treatment programme, I was provided with highly comprehensive and articulate information which detailed the respective stages whilst the alumni kindly enquired upon any concerns/preferences which I reserved at sequential intervals. To state that I was highly impressed would constitute a profound understatement. In conclusion, if you wish to receive the highest level of medical expertise in the most faultless sense during any form of acute distress, this is definitely an exceptional NHS location to take into consideration. Once again, I can’t emphasize how appreciative I am of the alumni who uphold the honourable title of our internationally acclaimed health constitution.

Don’t know how come they allow these gps to work in a hospital in a tourism area like this. This indian gp should actually be working in a warehouse or somewhere where he doesn’t need to contact with ppl because he doesn’t know how to talk to ppl decently. His English and accent is rubbish and he still look at you as if he’s English plus he’s asking (why you came to me then- what do you want me to do) I don’t think he’s even a gp. He looks more like a toktok driver to me 😂

Had my doubts but had no choice but to go. Was in some considerable pain. The reception colleague and training member of staff were both very professional and helpful. Once I was checked in I saw MJ I waited for over an hour. Took my symptoms and off I went for another check. Waited for another 45 minutes in total. All persons I spoke with and engaged with were all very courteous and empathetic. I think I was out the door within 3 hours and was told to come back if my symptoms worsened given my personal feedback. Overall it was above expectations but time will tell. 5*

Hate this place. One of the worst hospitals I’ve been in. In a seemingly empty A&E you will sit for over 4 hours. Watching staff chatting and laughing in the computers. And one even looking at a holiday .really. Then when ask them what’s happening with my care to be told. We are waiting for some results. They all out screaming for a raise. We’ll earn it then. Standing around doing nothing. Doesn’t look good to those sitting there in agony .

I would like to thank all the personnel yesterday evening that helped me. The nurse, Karen at the reception desk. The lady that checked my GP details were correct. The blood nurse. The doctor/nurse Ceri who was really thorough in checking my concussion symptoms were not something worse and got a stronger painkiller than paracetamol. Thanks to the nurse that gave the pill to me and to nurse Gaifty who reminded me of Ceri’s name. I was lucky all in all I was in A& E less than 3 hours. Everyone was lovely and seemed to care. Well done and keep it up.

I want to share what happened with me here so all people will be prepared, it can save your life. I had a very big temperature (39) and very big pain in my breast. I barely could stand and speak, that is how weak I was. I called immediately to NHS emergency and I asked what should I do. They recommended me to go to the hospital. I also was with my 8 months baby and I was without my husband so I took him to Emergency service at St Thomas. I arrived to the reception around midnight. Woman from reception gave me the form and then I described all my symptoms she said I SHOUD go home and take paracetamol. Because I only have cold. I told her I have very big pain in my breast and I am afraid I would fall on floor and I will not able to take care of my son since I m completely alone. She said again it is just the cold and not a big deal. I said to her I have to see the doctor and with big skepticism she asked me to wait. She put in my form note that I have just cold that’s why I was waiting my appointment around 5 hours. After that time I came to doctor to say “I can’t wait more I m littrely dying and my son was crying , I asked for help”. Doctor did analysis , she checked my temperature and my Breast she said I should take antibiotics immediately and it’s not cold at all it is mastitis. Thankfully I did not listen that receptionist from emergency service and I forced myself to fight with her to see doctor!Meanwhile it could be too late and I will need to do an operation! Doctors was really professional and kind! I appreciate their help to me. But that woman from reception just crazy person!

Came here with my friend after an injury. Got seen right away, clean facilities very friendly staff. Donovan was amazing, we bumped into him a couple of times around the hospital by chance, and he sorted us out with a wheelchair and saw us out when we were done, ensuring we got home safe. Thank you guys♥️
